Illegal Release of Ive Mendes CD

On 16th May 2005, the label Gran Via/El Dance, illegally released an album titled “Ive Mendes – Remixed” containing some of Ive’s unfinished songs and had been created without her knowledge or endorsement. Since it’s release, Ive’s team have been getting distribution of this illegal album re-called but some copies still remain.

Statement From Ive Mendes:

“I apologise to the people that have already bought this album expecting it to be the follow up to my first album. Unfortunately, ‘Ive Mendes – Remixed’ has been released without my knowledge or approval and is therefore illegal. Myself and my associates are in the process of getting this album re-called from distribution worldwide. I want my fans to know that I do not endorse in any way, the music on this album or the artwork. It does not reflect my style artistically or personally and in addition, it is significantly insufficient in the production quality that I am prepared to accept. I would kindly ask people not to buy this album. Thank you”.
